About Me

Hi, I’m Ned. I’m a photographer, cinematographer and videographer working across Sydney, the Hunter Valley and Melbourne.

In a previous life, I worked in the Environmental field, which gave me a strong love of wildlife and landscape photography. After several years as a portrait and product photography, I took the leap into moving image and studied at AFTRS, where I graduated with a Bachelor in Screen Studies. Since my studies, I have honed my craft and style as a creative, specialising in natural light, vintage glass, alongside high performance camera bodies; giving my visual aesthetic a unique edge in a competitive market.

My Approach

My approach is both professional and relaxed, and I pride myself on being friendly, approachable and collaborative. Through my work I offer a high level of attention to detail, a shared creative vision, high quality equipment, fast turnarounds and competitive pricing.

I am also passionate about equity and inclusion through my work and I strive to ensure that I am culturally aware, LGBTQIA safe and able to meet accessibility needs clients and collaborators may have.

Camera Services

I provide expert camera services that tell your story, capturing every vibe and moment. I’m your go-to photographer and videographer for events, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, activations, and festivals – turning each occasion into a visual narrative. Let’s keep it real with headshots and portraits that bask in the glow of natural light, needing just a sprinkle of post-processing magic. From professional gatherings to personal milestones, let’s create memories together that are as laid-back as they are professionally stunning.

TESTIMONIALS

“Ned has provided high quality photographic documentation of our annual conference event on two occasions, exceeding our expectations both times. We would not hesitate to recommend Ned’s services to anyone considering them.”

Australian International Documentary Conference

“Ned shot our inaugural “First Nations Impact Lab” on Wodi Wodi Country. It was a very intimate and meaningful experience for our team and the small cohort selected, and he gently and sensitively embedded himself in the group, navigating the cultural and physical landscapes with ease. He surprised us with a stunning, visually poetic photo and video representation of our experience, capturing interviews, action, and group shots with a generous lens. We can’t wait to work together again, in his capacity as a photographer as well as videographer!”
